Hi! I'm Marie, a journalist and anthropologist based in New York.

I like research rabbit holes, vintage ephemera, & telling stories about all things weird and wonderful... like spooky bird calls, cool chairs and ugly flooring. I also wrote, produced and directed 8 episodes of the Netflix series Explained  and recently graduated with distinction from Oxford University with an MSc in Visual, Material, and Museum Anthropology.
